Data Deletion

Instructions and status lookup for deleting personal data from Orbit.

When this page applies

This page covers data deletion requests originating from Facebook (when a user revokes the Orbit by Devotel app from their Facebook account or via Meta's in-product deletion flow). For all other deletion requests — including end-user requests via your workspace, GDPR Art 17 erasure, and CCPA §1798.105 — use the public Data Subject Access Request flow at orbit.devotel.io/dsar.

How to request deletion

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find Orbit by Devotel in the list and click Remove.
  3. Confirm the deletion. Facebook will send Orbit a signed request including your Facebook user ID.
  4. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link back to this page. Bookmark it — you can return any time to check progress.

What gets deleted

  • The Facebook user ID stored against any tenant workspace where it was linked (Meta Ads integration, WhatsApp embedded signup, Lead Ads).
  • Any OAuth tokens we hold for your Facebook account (revoked immediately on receipt of the deletion request).
  • Personal data we processed solely because you were the Facebook principal on a connected integration.

Data your workspace processes about its own end users (contacts, message history, audit logs) is controlled by the workspace owner — not by Devotel. Those end users must file deletion requests against the workspace itself via /dsar.

Timeline

We acknowledge the deletion synchronously when Facebook calls our callback. The actual erasure runs out-of-band and completes within 30 days, in line with GDPR Art 12(3). You can return to this page with your confirmation code at any time to check status.
