Quarter open: the preview and the mid-check
Q4 opened with two posts that bracket the quarter's plan, and they are part of the record here because they set the commitments this review answers to.
The Q4 preview set the operator agenda — reading the quiet-hours policy in code, cutting detokenize loops in the PII vault console, and running usage-alert rules on the signals that move an account — and labeled its forward section Preview, with no dates attached. The mid-check closed that loop from shipped runbooks only: the holiday-season volume playbook, the RCS launch checklist, and the quiet-hours send-time guide, each an operator path that runs on controls live today.

WhatsApp Flows validate cleanly on first upload (GA). Every new flow — drafted with AI Generate, built in the visual editor, started from a template, or pasted as raw JSON — is stamped with the WhatsApp Flows schema version Meta's servers accept, and the version is pinned again at upload, so an old draft cannot reintroduce a stale one. The "Flow JSON version is not supported" error that blocked the create-to-publish path is gone.
Video waiting rooms hold the queue at capacity, fully localized (GA). A room with a waiting room now picks its full-at-capacity lane deliberately — a lobby lists waiting guests instead of silently dropping the excess — and the whole flow, from lobby lists and capacity labels to the kick-ban control, reads correctly in every supported language. Multi-WABA deep links resolve the right account (GA). On a workspace with more than one WhatsApp Business account connected, a bookmarked or external link carrying a WABA id opens that exact account instead of silently resolving to the workspace default.
Number compliance resubmission stays in place (GA). When a carrier review of a number-purchase compliance profile comes back declined with corrected or extra documents requested, the resubmit carries the same review forward instead of orphaning it and starting a new one — so a number waiting on an in-flight carrier review stops sitting blocked.
Voice operations, documented end to end (GA). Conferences, hot-desking, and parked calls each have a complete operations guide now — dashboard surface, flows, and the API surface a tenant uses for call-group operations. Voice is where the quarter's tuning shows most: end-of-call settlement now runs every termination path to a consistent close, inbound softphone audio pins to the right audio region, and call-summary errors render as friendly copy instead of raw failure text.
Tuned, not just shipped
The title of this review is the quarter's shape, and the middle word earned its place. Tuning is the work that does not open a capability but decides whether the capability holds under load: settlement consistency on voice calls, error copy a customer can act on, localization carried through a waiting-room flow end to end. None of it heads a monthly installment on its own; all of it is what a quarterly review exists to collect.
The same tuning pass ran on the information side of the platform. The voice webhook reference, the recordings API worked samples, and the call-group operations guides all landed in the docs, so the surfaces a tenant integrates against read as contracts rather than as dashboard-only features.

Q4's remaining months get their own installments — the monthly release notes for each month, then the Q4-closing record in this slot. The quarter's forward direction stays where the preview put it: messaging deepens the Flows authoring path now that every route publishes cleanly, compliance scripts more of the policy surface, video keeps maturing waiting-room behavior, and the PII vault console's batch flow extends toward sealed-envelope handling at scale. That agenda is labeled Preview in the preview post and stays labeled there; work ships on the changelog first, never on a blog promise.
