DNO (Do-Not-Originate) is an origin-number block list on the outbound dial path — numbers and prefixes that fraudulent callers are known to spoof, such as government agencies or premium-rate destinations. An outbound call whose caller ID matches a DNO entry is rejected before it rings, because a legitimate business should never present that number as its caller ID.

The DNO guard runs on Orbit's outbound voice pre-send gate chain, after the fraud-velocity checks and before the per-country rate window — a caller ID matching a Do-Not-Originate entry or prefix surfaces as a blocked call with a DNO reason, and a per-org override in voice settings can craft tenant-owned exceptions where needed.
DNO complements CNAM and caller-ID verification: CNAM names which business owns an inbound number, while DNO filters the caller IDs you should never present as your own on outbound — both reduce spoofing exposure.
