STIR/SHAKEN attestation checklist

Pick the attestation level you want your outbound US voice traffic to reach, then walk the five tenant-owned reads Orbit ships — the attestation floor, branded calling profile, voice signature enrolled, evidence crosswalk, and the ITG traceback path. Free, no sign-up.

STIR/SHAKEN attestation checklist

Pick the attestation level you want your outbound US voice traffic to reach, mark the reads you already have covered, and see the placement in plain language. Each read is a control Orbit ships as a tenant-operated setting — this page advises, it never enforces.

Attestation level you want your traffic to reach
0 / 5 reads covered

Not all five reads are covered. A-level traffic on the numbers you own is the only real lever — everything below (certificates, branded calling, CNAM) paints over whatever ownership still leaves exposed.

STIR/SHAKEN posture is tenant-owned: attestation levels come from the upstream signing carrier — Orbit resolves your caller ID against ownership, leases, and delegate certificates, signals the level to Devotel's wholesale softswitch, and surfaces the evidence you configure. Nothing on this page attests your traffic or mandates a posture. This checklist is not legal advice — confirm your STIR/SHAKEN obligations with counsel.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the A/B/C attestation levels come from?
The upstream signing carrier, not Orbit and not this page. Orbit resolves your caller ID against ownership, leases, and registered delegate certificates (owned → A, leased → B, certificate-raised BYON → B, else C), signals the level to Devotel's wholesale softswitch, and surfaces the tenant-owned evidence you control.
What does Orbit actually sign on my outbound calls?
Devotel's wholesale carrier softswitch holds the STIR/SHAKEN signing certificate and signs the PASSporT — never higher than the level the platform resolved against your ownership and certificates. Orbit computes the level and surfaces your evidence; the signing authority is the upstream carrier, and the tenant-owned controls below set the posture the softswitch reports back for.
Which STIR/SHAKEN evidence does Orbit surface?
Everything tenant-owned: the attestation floor snapshot, the branded-calling (RCD) profile, the enrolled voice signature, the evidence-to-posture crosswalk, and the ITG traceback case lifecycle. Compliance posture is tenant-owned — Orbit surfaces the controls and records what you set; it never mandates a level.
