Productivity integration

Google Workspace + Orbit

What the Google Workspace integration does

The Google Workspace integration reads Google Calendar events into the contact timeline, syncs contacts both ways, and sends Gmail messages through the same template engine Orbit uses for SMS and WhatsApp.

How to connect Google Workspace

  1. Open the integration marketplace

In Orbit, go to Settings → Integrations and find Google Workspace.

  2. Connect your Google account

Click Connect and sign in with Google. Requires Gmail-send and calendar-read scopes, so a Workspace admin may need to approve the OAuth client the first time.

  3. Confirm the sync

Calendar events and contacts start syncing once the card shows Connected.

What teams use it for

  • Meetings on the contact timeline

Upcoming Google Calendar events for a contact surface right inside their Orbit profile.

  • Gmail on the same template engine

Send Gmail messages with the same templates used for SMS and WhatsApp, from one platform.
