Migrating from Vonage Video to Devotel Orbit: session, archive, and SIP cutover runbook

A code-level runbook for the Vonage Video API (TokBox/OpenTok heritage). Map sessions and the session/token pair to Orbit rooms and join tokens, re-host existing archives without re-encoding, move the Vonage SIP interconnect trunks to Orbit SIP, and cut over with a smoke window and a deliberate decommission.

Migrating from Twilio Video to Devotel Orbit RTC — SDK mapping and cutover checklist

Twilio Video's full sunset lands by the end of 2026. This is the code-level runbook — Twilio Room/Track/publish concepts mapped to Orbit's room, join-token and grant surface, recording and webhook parity, and a staged cutover that keeps receivers alive while you switch.

AWS Pinpoint end-of-life: the migration runbook, and the three replacement shapes

AWS documents a deprecation path for Amazon Pinpoint and points workloads at two in-AWS replacements — Connect outbound campaigns and SNS/End User Messaging publishing — each an assembly, not one product. This runbook sorts the shipped replacement shapes honestly, then walks the staged move to one omnichannel platform: event-stream export, segment porting into the native CDP, campaign parity mapping, dual-run, and cutover criteria.

Moving off Sinch in 2026 — the comparison and the migration runbook

An editorial comparison and migration runbook for teams leaving Sinch's multi-product CPaaS portfolio. Sinch coverage mapped product by product onto Orbit's sms-api, rcs-api, whatsapp-business-api, programmable-voice, and verify-api surfaces, then the switch ordered so sender IDs, message templates, and delivery-report webhooks move without interrupting live traffic.

Vendor deprecation watch — what the recent Twilio sunsetting means for migration budget

Twilio's public deprecation log now touches whole product families — Twilio Video's full sunset by the end of 2026, Programmable Fax's announcement, and scheduled maintenance on the Voice, SMS, and email (SendGrid) surfaces. What a migration runbook per product family looks like, and how the pattern maps to /voice-api, /video-api, and the public migration docs.
